Richard Hutten designed the Biota Chair with the use of a vegan leather material made from a tea-industrial by-product. “The Biota Chairs are a stylish and eco-friendly collection built to last. We’ve completely eliminated plastic, proving that you don’t need it to create super comfy seating. I’m really proud that, with the Biota Chair, I’ve been able to achieve this. I’ve also ensured that the chairs can be easily refurbished. The frame is designed to last a lifetime, while the bio-leather may need to be replaced over time. With just a few simple screws, this can be done easily.” The chair’s minimalist design offers a sense of calm in these chaotic times.
